And it seriously IRRITATES me because if we become united against each other then we stand for nothing. The Civil War was fought & "won" over 150 years ago. My question always is just who do the current race baiters think the abolishionists were anyway? I sure wasn't the "few" free blacks in the country it was a WHOLE LOT of "white people"..........thats who! And there were a WHOLE LOT of "white soldiers" who DIED in that war. The Civil Rights movement was fought & "won" almost 50 years ago. MLK and the movement had enormous support from "white" people as well and it wasn't only AA's that accomplished this feat. And the "white people" death count was equal to any AA lives lost during that battle. Bottom line is America is a country whose poplulation is united in the "love" of freedom and will resolve & "fix" issues at "any" cost and we have proven that generation after generation, war after war, where our brave soldiers, of all color, race & creed, have fought & died throughout the world. And Medicare will be a shadow of itself by the time I qualify, which will probably be around 70 or 75 at the rate we're going. The federal gov't has no business in ANY of these issues. I don't need the feds taking care of me. I could easily take the money I make in my lifetime and support MYSELF. But social security and medicare are not CHOICES. You cannot opt out. OR I WOULD.
