As you read this story & get SUPER pissed off……..I want to point out something that is rarely talked about with the Post Office: Philately. This is the study of stamps, closely tied with STAMP COLLECTING.
There are an estimated 20 MILLION stamp collectors in America alone. Think how many FOREIGNERS covet these U.S. stamps!! Think what that means. The stamp is the FEE to provide a SERVICE. So these people are providing the FEE …..BUT REQUIRING NO SERVICE. And they’re STILL FAILING.
Really??
This seems to me to be one of the largest VOLUNTARILY PRIVATELY SUBSIDZED gov’t offices in the WORLD, and they STILL can’t manage $HIT! Your gov’t is an abysmal failure. PERIOD.
They can NOT take over healthcare & save costs, and they SURE as hell won’t be finding any “fraud & abuse.” Good grief.
